Since it is the last day of the year 2009, I thought that it will be great to have a blog entry.Today I woke up at about 11+am after sleeping for more than 12 hours. It has been a long time since I have been able to sleep for such a long period of time. It might probably be due to weariness from my long holiday. It could also be due to the freezing cold weather that deters me from getting up. In any case, I decided to treat myself for the day. After breakfast, I had Ferrero Rondnoir (which I bought at a discount) and Hanuta (sent by my aunt). I then decided to go to Sainsbury to do some grocery shopping so that for the remaining days to the start of the term, I can hibernate at home, away from the freezing cold weather. Attempts to pay for my items at Sainsbury twice with my new debit card failed. So embarrassing! Apparently, I did not properly activate my card. In the end, I went back to borrow some cash from Steph while they will hold on to my items. It was a blessing in disguise as I went back home to get my 100g Milka Chocolate voucher which is due on 1st Jan 2010.
For dinner, I boiled Ginseng Chicken soup. It has been ages since I had proper soup..happy!! However, as it was my first time boiling soup, I realised that I should not have added too much water. Nonetheless, I still had two huge bowls of it. I also had oven-baked salmon and pollock fillet with cheese, mushrooms and green peas. YUMMY!!
Happy New Year 2010 to everyone!! Hope that the new year brings along with it new opportunities and blessings to each and every individual! I shall hope that I will be less careless in the new year. No more injuries. No more loss of money. No more loss of debit card. ^_^
