I am feeling very HAPPY!!! This is because I just recieved a parcel from home with lots and lots of CNY GOODIES!! There are 'mummy's home-made pineapple tarts..the best in the world!!', 'mummy's home-made ji dan gao', nian gao, foo chuk, gingko nuts painstakingly peeled by mummy, nga ku, white fungus, yu piao, a lovely pencil case bought by sasa, a wallet(cos my wallet's coin compartment has a hole), pen refill and almond cookies from Macau. I felt so touched..Special THANKS to my BELOVED FAMILY, especially BEAUTIFUL MUMMY and PRETTY SASA!! The delivery of this parcel took only 3 days!! This is what I termed as efficient. The parcel that I sent to my family from Germany took 3 weeks to reach them. Saw the difference?? That is one of the reasons why Singapore is the one and only place I truly recognise as HOME!! CNY is coming up..really looking forward to celebrating the festival with CNY goodies and friends..looking forward to tomorrow's dinner too:)

Tomorrow will be the start of week 2 of spring term. However, I am actually more interested in the upcoming Chinese New Year which will fall on next Monday, 26/01/2009. It is after all the biggest event for us Chinese people!! Hence, I have spent my weekend baking almond cookies. Of course, it is taught to me by MUMMY who is a GREAT COOK!! It taste ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! I am not bluffing okie?? I made a total of 397 ultra mini cookies. What a great sense of satisfaction after spending such a LONG TIME making them from scratch. After all, what's CNY without CNY goodies right? haha;) Looking forward Friday's pre CNY dinner with friends @ a Chinese restaurant..however, I am quite upset by the fact that I will not be able to have my renuion dinner with my beloved family for the next few years..I guess that I will have to just used to it..Photos time!!
